[Great News] Two Students from Xi'an Peihua University Selected for the 43rd China-Japan Student Conference

Recently, Liu Yi (Class of 2021) and Shu Rui (Class of 2022), Japanese majors from the Foreign Languages Department of the School of Humanities and International Education at Xian Peihua University, successfully passed the selection interview for the 43rd China-Japan Student Conference. They will participate in student exchange activities held in both China and Japan from August 4 to 24.

The theme of this years conference is Mountains and Rivers Apart, Sharing the Same Sky, with subcommittees focusing on five fields: environment, tourism, culture, communication, and economics. The discussions will center on topics related to China-Japan comparisons and relations. The conference aims to offer solutions to issues in the development of both countries from the perspective of young people, enhance mutual trust and understanding between China and Japan, and open a new chapter in the friendly exchanges between the two nations.

The full name of the conference is the China-Japan Student Conference, abbreviated as CJSC. Established in 1986, it is a student organization where university students from China and Japan participate in discussions on various topics over a period of fifteen days. The conference is hosted by China International Friendship Association, the China-Japan Student Conference Executive Committee, and the Japan-China Student Conference Executive Committee, with support from the Guangzhou Liaison Office in China, the Education Office of the Chinese Embassy in Japan, the Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Education, and the Japan-China Friendship Association.
