On 26th August, Mr. Liu Guochao, famous director and art planner; Ms. Wang Peiwen, public affairs director of Taobao Tmall Group; Zhou Yanyue, deputy director of China Association for Standardisation’s Professional Committee on Quality of Household Building Materials and member of National Minority Clothing Standard Committee came to visit the Peihua university. Chairman of the university, Mr. Jiang Bo; assistant to the president, Mr. Bao Wei; deputy dean of the School of Accounting and Finance, Mr. Ding Yang; executive vice dean of the School of Communication and Design, Mr. Xu Ying; professor Shao Lu from Visual Communication Design and Liu Yu; director of the Cooperation and Development Centre, participated in the discussion.
At the symposium, the participants had an in-depth discussion on how to strengthen university-enterprise cooperation and promote the integration of industry-education-research, aiming to proceed from the intersection of education and industry to open the mind, and deepen the exploration, cultivate more talents with the spirit of innovation and practical ability for the society, and contribute to the promotion of the high-quality development of education.
Chairman Jiang Bo fully explained the university’s policy of university-enterprise cooperation, and communicated with the guests about the intention and content of the cooperation in depth. He hoped that both parties would continue to expand the boundaries of vocational education with the support of the emerging Internet technology, make use of the scientific research advantages of the university and the market resources of the enterprises, develop the curricula together, set up the internship bases, and provide practical opportunities for the students, so as to closely integrate the content of the education with the market demand.
Before the start of the symposium, the guests visited the University History Museum, Regenerative Medicine and Precision Immunity Health Centre, the graduation exhibition of the School of Communication and Design and the Belt and Road Finance Institute of Supply Chain, to learn about the actual university running and development characteristics.
