With students returning to campus on February 22 and 23, Xi'an Peihua University officially welcomed the start of the spring semester. All faculty and students were in high spirits, ready to embrace the new semester with confidence.

------ University Leaders Inspect the First Day of Classes

On February 24, the first day of classes, all university leaders divided into groups to visit various teaching and service units to inspect the first day of classes and the preparations for the new semester. The leaders, accompanied by department heads, went to the front lines, visiting classrooms, laboratories, and cafeterias to ensure a comfortable and safe working and learning environment for teachers and students. Through the inspections, it was clear that all units had taken the preparations seriously, with detailed arrangements in place. Teachers and students were in high spirits, classroom order was well-maintained, and all support measures were in place.

------ Thousands of Students Attend the Same Class, Thematic Class Meetings Boost Morale

At the start of the new semester, the Student Service Center organized thematic class meetings for the "First Class of the Semester." Through a combination of theory and practice, safety education, and teacher-student interaction, the meetings aimed to inspire students to take responsibility for their own destinies and write a new chapter of hard work in the spring. The class meetings started with the results of the "Five Educations" practice during the winter vacation, using examples such as the cultural confidence in Ne Zha 2and the scientific spirit of Huang Xuhua to motivate students to break through their limits. The meetings also focused on AI technology trends, encouraging students to set scientific learning goals. Multidimensional safety education covered areas such as fire safety, internet safety, and health protection. Additionally, a "complaint resolution" mechanism was established, with counselors visiting student communities to address questions and concerns.

------ Utilizing Online Channels to Ensure Student Safety During Return

Faculty and staff returned to work on February 19 to prepare for the smooth return of students and the start of the new semester. The university used its website, WeChat official account, and class groups to widely disseminate safety tips to ensure that every student was aware of and took safety seriously. The safety tips covered key areas such as weather and road conditions, traffic safety, food safety, property safety, infectious disease prevention, and telecom fraud prevention. To ensure safety measures were implemented, the university organized comprehensive safety inspections of key areas such as teaching buildings, laboratories, libraries, cafeterias, and student dormitories. Any issues identified were assigned to responsible personnel with clear deadlines for resolution. Additionally, campus patrols were increased to ensure a safe and stable campus environment.

------ Multi-Dimensional Collaboration to Build a Safety Barrier, Ensuring a Safe Return for Students

Before the start of the semester, the student affairs department worked closely with other departments to implement various measures to ensure the safe return of students. From February 22 to 23, representatives from the Party Committee Student Affairs Department visited various colleges to conduct on-site inspections of the start-of-semester work, strengthening and improving systems for student return, safety education, student management, and community visits. From February 19 to 20, all colleges conducted self-inspections of dormitory safety, thoroughly checking all student dormitories to eliminate potential hazards and ensure that all facilities were in good condition before students returned.

------ Creating a Warm Atmosphere for the Start of the Semester, Heartwarming Services Praised by Students

Before the start of the semester, the university's News Center, Party Committee Student Affairs Department, and various teaching units set up welcoming slogans and banners across the campus. Eye-catching arches with messages such as "We're Back to School" and "Happy Start of the Semester" were installed, along with warm wishes like "New Semester, New Journey, May All Good Things Come as Expected" and "May Your Studies Flourish, May Your Dreams Come True." These efforts created a warm and welcoming atmosphere for students returning to campus. Through a series of heartwarming activities, students felt the warmth of returning "home," adding a lively and cozy spring vibe to the "one-stop" student community and bringing students closer together.

Both teachers and students expressed that they would quickly adjust to the new semester, set new goals, and face new challenges with determination. They are ready to press the "fast-forward" button on their work and studies, transitioning from the holiday mode to the work and study mode, and strive to make new contributions and achieve new successes.
