On April 9, 2025, the Joint Enterprise Visit and Job Expansion Event of Shaanxi Universities was held in Jinan, Shandong. The event was attended by leaders from 28 universities in Shaanxi, heads of employment departments, and representatives from the Municipal Youth Entrepreneurs Association. Yao Wenjing, Vice President and Party Secretary of Xi’an Peihua University, was invited to attend the event.

Wu Zhenlei, Member of the Shaanxi Provincial Party Committee Education Work Committee and Vice Director of the Shaanxi Provincial Department of Education, attended the event and delivered a speech. He stated that this event, through facilitation, precise matching, and supply-demand linkage, achieved a targeted connection between educational resources and industrial resources. It explored a new path for deepening school-enterprise collaboration in the Yellow River Basin, serving as a practical example of “two-way engagement” between schools and enterprises. He emphasized that both regions should establish a long-term mechanism to normalize cooperation, strengthen precise matching to improve talent suitability, deepen industry-education integration to stimulate new collaborative momentum, and further solidify the results of their exchanges and cooperation, ultimately achieving a win-win situation for schools, enterprises, and regions.

After the event, participants, led by Li Kaisheng, Deputy General Manager of Inspur Group, visited the Inspur Group exhibition hall, where they gained an in-depth understanding of the company’s development history, corporate culture, and its self-developed products and technologies.

During the visit and tour, Vice President Yao Wenjing engaged in in-depth discussions with the heads of Inspur Smart Technology Co., Shandong Dazhi Training, YouRenWuLian, Jinan Energy Engineering Group, and Shuyu Pingmin Pharmacy, among others. She provided a detailed introduction to the achievements Xi’an Peihua University has made in recent years in areas such as applied talent cultivation and industry-education integration. She emphasized that the university has closely aligned its efforts with national strategies and regional economic development needs, establishing five key professional clusters, including “Holistic Health”, “Information Technology”, and “Modern Services”. The university has also built over 470 practice bases both on and off-campus and has formed partnerships with numerous high-quality enterprises.

She specifically mentioned that Shandong Province is an important source of students for the university and a key region for graduate employment. In recent years, the employment situation of graduates from Shandong has been favorable, with a satisfaction rate of over 95% from employers. Looking ahead, the university will deepen its cooperation with Shandong enterprises, explore models such as jointly building modern industry colleges and order-based talent cultivation, and contribute more high-quality applied talents to the economic development of Shandong.

On the afternoon of April 10, Vice President Yao Wenjing and her delegation visited Shandong Concord University, where the two sides engaged in in-depth discussions on student development and the construction of “one-stop” student communities. Hu Hengji,Member of the Party Committee and Vice President of Shandong Concord University, warmly welcomed the Peihua delegation and provided an overview of the university’s development, including its history and achievements in student development. Vice President Yao Wenjing praised the university for its remarkable achievements in connotative development and talent cultivation and introduced the unique features, development history, and accomplishments of Xi’an Peihua University.

The Peihua delegation visited Shandong Concord University’s Experimental Teaching Center, Virtual Simulation Experimental Teaching Center, and other facilities. They learned about the application of digital teaching equipment and smart laboratory configurations. The delegation expressed their intention to deepen cooperation in areas such as the construction of “one-stop” student communities, collaborative development of counselor teams, and sharing of employment resources.

During the event, Vice President Yao Wenjing specially visited Peihua’s outstanding alumnus, Zhang Tailing, Deputy Director of the Government and Finance Workroom at the Integrated Media Information Center of Shandong Radio and Television. Zhang, a graduate of the 2007 class in Broadcasting and Hosting Arts, has become a key figure in the media industry due to his solid professional skills and comprehensive qualities. Vice President Yao fully acknowledged Zhang’s achievements in public opinion guidance, brand planning, and public welfare projects, particularly his leadership in initiatives like “Phoenix Shandong Public Welfare in Action” and “Lightning Public Welfare in Action”, which highlight the social responsibility of Peihua alumni. Zhang fondly recalled his time at the university, expressing gratitude to his alma mater and stating that he would actively serve as a bridge for alumni, helping younger generations with employment and entrepreneurship. Vice President Yao emphasized that alumni are a crucial resource for the university. The university will continue to focus on alumni development, integrate resources, and promote a win-win collaboration between the “alumni, alma mater, and enterprises”.
