On the morning of June 30, the inauguration ceremony of Academician Wen Xuejun’s Workstation was held in the lecture hall of Mingde Building at Xi’an Peihua University. The event was attended by more than 200 participants, including Professor Wen Xuejun,Academician of the American Institute for Medical and Biological Engineering; Zhang Shaolin,Chairman of Kekai International Holding (Hainan) Co., Ltd.; Jia Tianhu,General Managerof the company,and other enterprise representatives; Dr. Jiang Bo,Chairman of Xi’an Peihua University; Professor Li Yingfang,President of theuniversity; Professor Qin Haifeng,Assistant President; as well as faculty and student representatives from theSchoolof Medicine. Together, they witnessed this milestone moment. The event was presided over by Professor Luo Xinyuan,VicePresident of theuniversity.
At the beginning of the event, Chairman Jiang Bo delivered a welcome speech. He emphasized that the strategic collaboration with Academician Wen Xijun and Kekai International, which involves the establishment of Academician Wen’s Workstation, along with the Institute of National Health Management, the Stem Cell Industry Research Institute, and the KekaiIndustry Research Institute, reflectsthe university’scommitment to deepening industry–education integration and promotingthe transformation of research outcomes.In the future, partnership will focus on building innovative collaboration platforms, forming research teams, and developing into a model benchmark for the industry.
Jia Tianhu,General Manager of Kekai International Holding (Hainan) Co., Ltd., expressed his hope that thiscollaborationcanfacilitate the gathering of experts, scholars, and enterprise resources at the science and innovation center. He anticipated more research outcomes from academician Wen Xuejun’s team that would contribute to public health and social development. Both parties will focus on breakthroughs in core areas such as stem cell research, deepen industry-academia-research integration, cultivate high-end talent, and contribute to regional industrial upgrading.

During the event, Xi’an Peihua University and Kekai International Holding signed a strategic cooperation agreement. They also unveiled the plaques for Academician Wen Xuejun’s Workstation, the Public Health Management Research Institute, the Stem Cell Industry Research Institute, and the Kekai Industry Research Institute. Academician Wen Xuejun was appointed as Director of the Public Health Management Research Institute and the Stem Cell Industry Research Institute at Xi’an Peihua University, as well as a Distinguished Professor. Jia Tianhu and Zhao Wenjie were appointed as Guest Professors of the university.
Academician Wen Xuejun delivered an academic reportEstablishing a Safety and Efficacy Assurance System for Stem Cells. Starting from cutting-edge technologies in regenerative medicine, he provided an in-depth analysis of key issues and development directions in stem cell research. The report offered a high-level academic feast for the attending faculty, students, and enterprise representatives, setting a solid foundation for subsequent scientific research efforts.
At the end of the event, Zhang Shaolin, Chairman of Kekai International,stated that the establishment of Academician Wen Xuejun’s Workstation, the Public Health Management Research Institute, the Stem Cell Industry Research Institute, and the Kekai Industry Research Institute marks a milestone in the deep practice of industry-academia collaboration. It also represents a critical layout for both parties to face the future and serve national strategies.
