On July 18, the appointment ceremony for Yu Jianhua, Academician of the Royal Society for the Encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce and Director of the International Academy of Technological Innovation, as Honorary President of Xi’an Peihua University was held in the university’s lecture hall. Jiang Bo, Chairman of the Board, and Li Yingfang, President of the university, attended the ceremony. The event was presided over by Luo Xinyuan, Chairman of the Academic Committee and Vice President.

He provided a comprehensive overview of the planning and development of the International Academicians Center for Science and Technology Innovation. He stated that the center brings together numerous academicians and project resources. By joining Peihua and signing a strategic cooperation agreement with the university, both parties will complement each other’s strengths, jointly promote technological innovation and the transformation of achievements, and provide strong support for higher education institutions in the province to integrate into the global ecosystem of technological innovation, as well as to build a highland for talent aggregation and a hub for innovation.

He graduated from the Department of Economics of Shandong University. Currently, he serves as the Director of the International Academicians Center for Science and Technology Innovation, Academician of The Royal Society for the Encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce, President of the International High-Tech Research Institute, Advisor to the Shanghai Technology Exchange, Executive Vice Chairman of the Asian Working Committee of the UN World Brand Committee and concurrently Chairman of the Chinese Working Committee, and Visiting Professor at Shanghai Jiao Tong University. He is also a core expert member of key ministerial groups including the National Development and Reform Commission, the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and the Ministry of Finance, as well as an advisor to multiple local governments and renowned domestic and international enterprises.
