On July 18,the strategic cooperation signing ceremony between Xi’an Peihua University and the International Academicians Science and Technology Innovation Center was held at Peihua.The event was attended by various distinguished guests, including Yu Jianhua, Academician of the Royal Academy of Engineering and Director of the International Academicians Science and Technology Innovation Center; Liu Minghui, General Manager of Rhein-Köster Group Shaanxi Company; as well as university leaders such as Jiang Bo, Chairman of Xi’an Peihua University, and Li Yingfang, President of the universityalong,along with heads of functional departments and secondaryschools, representatives of doctoral faculty, and technology manager faculty. Chairman Jiang Bo expressed his gratitude to the International Academicians Science and Technology Innovation Center and Germany’s Rhein-Köster Group for their trust and support in his speech.He reviewed the university’s historical ties with the China Vocational Education Association, elaborated on Huang Yanpei’s philosophy of vocational education, and systematically outlined the university’s journey in integrating industry with education. He emphasized that the university is currently exploring a pyramid-shaped talent development model designed to provide broad growth pathways for every student. He highlighted ongoing efforts to accelerate the construction of diversified platforms and expand extensive collaborations, expressing the hope to deepen cooperation with these two international institutions. Academician Yu Jianhua delivered a speech titled Integrated Pathways for Technological Innovation and Talent Cultivation, emphasizing the critical importance of transferring internationally advanced technologies and adapting them for local application. He provided a detailed introduction to the fundamental framework of the International Academicians Science and Technology Innovation Center andexpressed the center’s commitment to leveraging its resource coordination strengths to support Xi’an Peihua University in enhancing disciplinary development and research capabilities, andpromoting the application of scientific and technological achievements to drive the upgrading of local industries.

Liu Minghui, General Manager of Rhein-Köster Group Shaanxi Company, introduced the enterprise’s development overview and expressed commitment to actively promote the translation and implementation of new technologies at Xi’an Peihua University, contributing to the institution’s centennial celebration.
In his concluding remarks, Vice President Luo Xinyuan emphasized that this collaboration represents a key initiative for the university to deepen the integration of industry and education and align with international innovation-driven platforms. Moving forward, the institution will leverage the high-end think tank resources of the International Academicians Science and Technology Innovation Center and the advanced manufacturing resources of Germany’s Rhein-Köster Group to establish an ecosystem that integrates the“education chain, industry chain, and innovation chain,” thereby enriching the new dimensions of vocational education.
Reportedly, as the only continuing institution of the China Vocational Education Association in Shaanxi Province, Xi’an Peihua University has actively practiced the vocational education philosophy of “using both hands and brains” and “integrating learning with practice.” The university regards deepening industry-education integration and university-enterprise cooperation as its foundation and engine for development.
