To deepen the professional and vocational development of college counselor teams, activate the core effectiveness of counselor studios in areas such as mentorship by senior experts, peer support, and professional exchange, and promote high-quality leapfrog development in college counseling work, the fourth cohort of Counselor Studio Joint Construction and Collaboration activities was launched in Qingdao from August 2 to 3.A total of 199 counselor studios from 27 provinces across the country participated in the event, jointly opening a new chapter of collaborative education, resource sharing and mutual learning. Among them, Xi’an Peihua University’s Dream-building Online Ideological and Political Education Studio and Digital Wings Studiowere selected as jointly constructed studiosin the fourth cohort of college counselor studios.
The event was structured around themed reports, case study sessions, workshop activities, and practical exercises. Several renowned domestic ideological and political education experts were invited to deliver special reports. The launch ceremony ofthe Mentorship Partnership: Counselor Growth MentorsInitiative was held, marking the official start of the first group of paired mentoring collaborations.A number of counselor studios participated in the Chasing Light 100-Second Sharing session, lightning talks, and a thought-leadership roundtable meetingtitled Fostering Virtue and Talent: A Dialogue with Distinguished Educators. Participants also visited the Qingdao Party His tory Memorial Hall and the Marine Biology Museum of Ocean University of China for experiential learning.
Dream-building Online Ideological and Political Education Studio focuses on enhancing ideological and political education for college students, with a thematic emphasis on“original online articles + short videos”. It explores new frontiers for online ideological and political education by counselors in the new era.Digital Wings Studio, leveraging faculty expertise from the School of Intelligent Science and Engineering and aligning with the specific demands of counselor work, aims to strengthen counselors’ data empowerment capabilities. It seeks to enhance theirnew quality productivity and expand initiatives around data-enabled education,data-driven student development, anddata-informed professional growth.
Participation in the joint construction initiative is not merely a cross-regional exchange event, but also a convergence of educational wisdom, a blending of practical experience, and a relay of shared mission. Starting from this collaboration, the university will closely focus on the core needs ofstudent growth and development, and rigorously carry out a series of targeted and effective measures—including building a “Community for Studio Growth” and refining “Distinctive Studio Brands”. These efforts are designed to tangibly enhance the capabilities and expertise of our counselor team and contribute to the high-quality developmentof ideological and political work at our institution.
