To comprehensively deepen the reform of innovation and entrepreneurship education, the Shaanxi Provincial Department of Education held the provincial-level semi-finals of the 9th China International “Internet+” College Students Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition from June to August 2023. The list of winners in the Shaanxi competition area has been finalized.
In this competition, our university has received a total of 25 provincial-level awards. Among them, “National Trendy Illusion Art - Hua Shan Magic” won the provincial-level gold award, “Smart Campus Services for Classmates” received the provincial-level silver award, and 23 other projects, including “Youth Media Galloping - University Self-Media Incubation Platform” received provincial-level bronze awards. This achievement represents a significant breakthrough in the total number of awards received.

In recent years, the university has placed a high emphasis on the “Internet+” College Students Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition. To foster students' awareness and enhance their capacity for innovation and entrepreneurship, Xi’an Peihua University has formulated the “Xi’an Peihua University Management Measures for the China International ‘Internet+’ College Students Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition”. This measure creates a platform for students’ innovative entrepreneurship projects to connect with social resources. It also involves the invitation of external experts to provide guidance on project categorization, helping faculty and students clarify key preparation points and ideas, and specifying directions for improving their works to enhance their competitiveness. With the support and cooperation of various colleges and units, the university saw 1,337 project submissions and 7,620 student participants in the 2023 competition.
The university is committed to further exploring innovative practices in entrepreneurship education. It aims to construct an integrated innovation and entrepreneurship education system that encompasses theoretical education, practical training, and guidance services. Leveraging the competition as an opportunity, the “Internet+” College Students Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition serves as a crucial driver to enhance the quality of talent cultivation. The university’s approach revolves around using the competition to promote learning, teaching, training, and innovation. By doing so, it seeks to comprehensively elevate the quality of innovation and entrepreneurship education, enhance teaching standards, and contribute to the continuous improvement of the quality of high-level applied talent cultivation.
