The 2023 China Women’s College Football Invitational Tournament official started in Beijing on October 12th. It was hosted by the China Women’s Higher Education Alliance and the China Women’s University (ACWF Executive Leadership Academy), and was supported by China Football Development Foundation. This year, the women’s football team of Peihua University was invited.
Facing strong competitors, women’s football team of Peihua demonstrated its outstanding skills and won the championship. And Peihua also received several other awards in this tournament. The school was honored with Sportsmanship Award. Luo Guofan, a player of Peihua, was awarded the honorary title of “Outstanding Athlete”, and Liu Qin, another player, was awarded “Best Defensive Player”. Coach Du Feng was awarded the title of “Outstanding Coach”.
These young women showed their great talent and pioneering spirits. In this fierce competition, women’s football team of Peihua not only earned glory, but also forged new friendships with others. It is hoped that they would continue their brilliant performance in the upcoming races and win more honors for the 95th anniversary of the foundation of Xi’an Peihua University.
