In order to build a broader internship and employment platform, deepen school-enterprise cooperation, and expand employment channels,Xi’an Peihua University held a signing ceremony for an employment and internship agreement with the General Hospital of Beitun Cityinthe 10th Division of Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps on August 16.Meng Kai, first-level researcher of Beitun Municipal Health Commissioninthe 10th Division of Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps,Nie Xinsheng,secretary of the Party Committee and president of the General Hospital,heads of relevant administrative departments, attended the ceremony along with another six people from Peihua including President LiYingfang,AssistantPresidentBao Wei,andShi Lijun, secretary of the Party Committee and deputy dean of administration of the School of Medicineof Peihua, etc.
At the signing ceremony,Bao Wei and Shi Lijun generally introduced Xi’an Peihua University and the School of Medicine respectively.Xi’an Peihua University has a long history,profound culture,complete disciplines, strong faculty, and widely recognized quality of talentcultivation.The School of Medicine of Xi’an Peihua University has 8 majors, among which Nursing and Pharmacy are the first-class majors atprovincial level.The School hasa high-level teaching team, complete teaching facilities and excellent teaching environment.Adheringto themotto of“to be a professional and sincere doctor,to seek the truth and goodness”, the School focuses on cultivating local, application-oriented, high-quality medical and health talents. On behalf of the school, President Li Yingfang expressed his gratitude to the Beitun Municipal Health Commission and th eGeneral Hospitalof Beitun City in the 10th Division for their warm reception, and highly recognized the discipline construction, talent cultivation, construction and managementof the teaching hospital, and hospital environment of General Hospitalof Beitun City.He hoped that the School of Medicine and the General Hospital of Beitun City would give full play to their respective advantages, establish a long-term cooperative relationship, and deepen cooperation further in talentcultivation, internships and employment, so as to achieve complementary advantages and win-win cooperation, provide more extensive employment channels for medical students of Peihua, and cultivate more talents for the development of medical and health undertakings in Beitun City.

At the symposium,Nie Xinsheng,secretary of the Party Committee and president of the General Hospital, gavea detailed introduction to the General Hospital.He said that with such abundant student resources in various majors, Peihua willmeet the demand of talents invarious industriesin Beitun. And he promised thatthe General Hospital will strive toprovide good teaching and service for interns with its professional advantages by focusing on the needs of interns.
In the warm applause, Li Yingfang and Nie Xinsheng signed a cooperation agreement for the internshipand employment,and unveiledthe plague.Based on the affirmationof the quality of Peihua’s talent cultivation, the General Hospital listed Peihua as a high-quality talent cultivationbase and awarded Peihua a plaque.
The two sides also had in-depth discussions on the training of medical talents, construction and management of teaching hospital, entrepreneurship and employment of graduates, specific cooperation content of the internship base, selection and management of interns, and teaching arrangements during internships.

Later, Principal Li Yingfang and others visited the alumni representatives working intheGeneral Hospital and expressed the concernsof their alma mater, Peihua.The leaderspresent also visited the Vocational Skills Training Center and the History Museum oftheGeneral Hospital and learned about the development of the hospital in detail.
The signing and unveiling ceremony marks the official opening of a new chapter in the medical education and practice cooperation between the two parties. The two sides will build a platform integrating teaching, scientific research, and clinical practice, providing medical studentsof Peihua with more chances to practice and abroader space to grow, and also accumulating experience and bringing new ideas for Peihua to explore school-enterprise cooperation, and school-local cooperation.
