On December 24, the Report and Honors Awarding Ceremony for the "Jiang Weizhi Class" Initiative in the 2024–2025 Academic Year was held in the lecture hall of the Weizhi Library. Jiang Bo, Chairman of the Board of Xi’an Peihua University, President Li Yingfang, Executive Vice President Hu Junsheng, Vice President and Deputy Party Committee Secretary Yao Wenjing, Secretary-General of the Board and Vice President Jiang Yingchu, Assistant to the President Bao Wei, Deputy Party Committee Secretary Cai Liang, Director of the Academic Affairs Management Center Tie Wei, Party Committee Secretaries (Deputy Secretaries) from various secondary schools (Party General Branches), representatives of academic advisors, all counselors, 50 public reviewers, and Peihua youth came together to witness the growth journey of outstanding class collectives, celebrate their shining achievements, and share the honor.

Chairman Jiang Bo emphasized that through nearly a century of trials and transformations, the most valuable asset of Peihua University is the cultural spirit and steadfast beliefs passed down through generations of its members. The "Spirit of Jiang Weizhi" is by no means limited to representing Mr. Jiang Weizhi alone; rather, it is a true reflection of the collective ethos of educators during that era. Today, since its official launch, the "Jiang Weizhi Class" has achieved remarkable results. Taking this opportunity, he called upon every student of Peihua University to not only aspire to great heights and look up at the stars but also to remain grounded and steadfast in action. He urged them to shoulder the mission entrusted by history, proactively assume social responsibilities, stay true to their original aspirations at the new starting point of Peihua University's century-long journey, and continue to strive and run forward on the track of youth in the new era.

Quan Yongtai, Director of the Student Affairs Department of the Party Committee, reported on the progress of establishing the "Jiang Weizhi Class" for the 2024-2025 academic year from four perspectives: "Deepening the Mission of Fostering Virtue Through Education and Strengthening the Foundation of Ideals and Beliefs," "Focusing on Building a Brand of Academic Atmosphere and Consolidating the Achievements of Characteristic Cultivation," "Enhancing Interdepartmental Collaboration and Establishing a Dynamic Evaluation Mechanism," and "Implementing a Tiered and Categorized Evaluation System to Drive Value-Added Empowerment with Dual Engines." He emphasized that in subsequent efforts, it is essential to unite the efforts of teachers and students, uphold historical foundations, and focus on quality improvement to inject strong momentum into the school's value enhancement and efficiency optimization, thereby contributing to Peihua's century-long development.
During this progress report, each class presented their achievements in establishing the "Jiang Weizhi Class" over the past year. They showcased their progress in areas such as Party and Youth League building, academic atmosphere development, distinctive activities, dormitory culture, and awards received, utilizing formats such as live scenario presentations, PowerPoint demonstrations, and video screenings.
Class 01 of Law 2024 has established a "3 Platforms + 1 Mechanism + N Outcomes" development framework, focusing on deepening professional knowledge, enhancing foreign language proficiency, studying AI applications, and improving overall competencies. The class has set up learning groups such as "Morning Reading Sessions, Peer Support Teams, and Foreign Language Assistance Groups" to enhance educational outcomes across multiple dimensions. Currently, 72.2% of the class has passed the CET-4, while 56.25% has passed the CET-6. Students in the class have received various scholarships 43 times, accounting for 83% of the total awards. Additionally, they have achieved 33 national honors and over 80 provincial and municipal honors. In the process of building the class, the concept of "Rule of Law for the People" has been translated into action, aligning professional growth with social responsibility.
The Class 01 of Arts and Crafts, 2023 Cohort, centers around "cultural confidence" to build a dual-wing framework of "Party and Youth League leadership + professional practice," supported by a three-dimensional system of "technique inheritance, creative transformation, and promotion." The class has collectively created over 10 groups of intangible cultural heritage works, earning multiple provincial honors. Students have secured more than 70 awards and certificates in total, achieving full participation. The practice teams carried out cultural volunteer services in 5 villages across 4 cities of 2 provinces, accumulating over 1,492 hours, with an average of 234.3 points per person in the second classroom. Four projects under the "Three Down to the Countryside" initiative received national and provincial-level recognition, serving over 10,000 people and earning more than 30 commendation letters, effectively advancing cultural inheritance and innovation in practice.
Class 16 of Chinese Language and Literature, 2023 Cohort, implements the "1928 Collaborative Operation Mechanism." Guided by one shared goal and under the mentorship of dual advisors, nine class committee members have established eight mutual learning groups, fostering a positive dynamic where "mechanisms drive learning and mutual support promotes growth." The class has achieved a CET-4 pass rate of 60%, with a first-time pass rate of 25% for the written exam of the Teacher Qualification Certificate. Students have secured 36 national awards and 53 provincial and municipal awards in innovation and entrepreneurship competitions, while completing 15 research projects. In cultural activities and academic competitions, the class has earned 58 national awards and 67 provincial and municipal awards. Emphasizing both ideological guidance and academic ethos development, the class cultivates virtue through a solid academic atmosphere and inherits cultural heritage through innovative practices, striving to contribute youthful wisdom and strength to the advancement of Chinese modernization.
Class 04 of Medical Laboratory Technology, 2023 Cohort, has established the "1926 Collaborative Education System" in its class development, which includes dual-advisor guidance, collaborative leadership by nine class committee members, and joint progress across six dormitories. This system comprehensively strengthens academic ethos, deepens the practice of specialized study groups, and fosters an enterprising learning atmosphere. Fifty percent of the class has obtained the "BLS Basic Life Support Course Completion Certificate," while 80% actively participate in various professional competitions. The class has collectively published four academic papers and secured four projects under the University Student Innovation and Entrepreneurship Training Program. Class members have received 30 national awards, 20 provincial and municipal honors, and obtained over 100 professional skills and related qualification certificates. The class continues to align specialized learning with the development needs of the country, contributing youthful energy to the "Healthy China" initiative through practical actions.
Class 01 of E-Commerce, 2023 Cohort, centers on the distinctive systems of "Three Meetings, Two Courses, One Portfolio" and "One Student, One Portfolio" to establish an integrated class-league structure and a dormitory-based educational model known as "1 Core, 4 Tiers, 6 Dimensions." By utilizing dormitories as the core and linking four levels of management, the class strengthens its educational foundation across six dimensions: Party building, academics, mental well-being, culture, self-governance, and safety. Through the "1+3" peer assistance initiative, the class has achieved zero course failures. Leveraging their expertise in e-commerce, the class conducted livestreaming campaigns to support farmers, helping increase their income by over 13,000 yuan. In research and innovation, students have published three papers, participated in six research projects, earned 14 national awards, and secured more than 50 provincial and university-level awards (including over 30 in innovation and entrepreneurship). Additionally, they have completed five projects under the University Student Innovation and Entrepreneurship Training Program and won four awards in the "Challenge Cup" competitions, effectively serving society and fostering growth through professional practice.
Class 01 of Computer Science and Technology, 2023 Cohort, closely aligns with the national "AI+" strategy to deeply integrate professional learning with the mission of serving the country through technology. The class has received various scholarships 17 times, secured 8 national awards, 16 provincial awards, and 48 university and departmental awards in academic competitions. In social practice, the class obtained one project approved by the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League and holds one software copyright along with one published paper. Notably, the project "Adaptive Low-Damage Apple-Picking Robot Based on Multimodal Perception" is the only entry from a private university in Shaanxi Province selected for the 2025 National College Student Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition, highlighting its outstanding research and innovation capabilities.

Inspired by the example of the late President Jiang Weizhi and other veteran educators, the young students continue to cultivate their character, study diligently, and strive for excellence. Building on the achievements of the "Jiang Weizhi Class" initiative, the university has been awarded the First Prize for Teaching Achievements at the provincial level. Standing at this new starting point, we will continue to deepen ideological and political education, ensuring that the spirit of the "Jiang Weizhi Class" is passed on and carried forward, nurturing more young individuals capable of undertaking the great task of national rejuvenation in the new era.
