Amidst fluttering banners, the thunderous beats of Hengshan waist drums echoed the spirit of the times, while dragon and lion dances ignited the crowd’s passion. Confident young faces painted a vivid picture of this “youthful spectacle”, marking its most dazzling moments.
The opening ceremony was hosted by Vice President and Deputy Party Secretary Yao Wenjing. The National Flag Guard led the procession, their resolute steps ringing like thunder and their upright postures as steady as pines, setting a solemn tone as they unfurled the Five-Starred Red Flag. The University Emblem Formation followed, embodying the motto “Reputation First, Quality Supreme; Self-Improvement and Pioneering Spirit”, which has inspired generations of Peihua students to strive for excellence. The School of Intelligent Science and Engineering marched under the banner “Intelligence Shapes the World, Innovation Fuels the Future”, blending rigor with vitality and wisdom with perspiration. The School of International Education stepped forward to the rhythm of youth, bridging cultures and shaping the future of education, while writing their chapters of perseverance on the field. Medical students, donning white coats as their “battle gear”, marched with determination, bringing the mission of “medical compassion” to the green fields. The School of Law showcased their rationality and passion for justice through their relentless efforts. The School of Media and Design used Hengshan waist drums as their medium, with their performance Hengshan Waist Drums resonating with the spirit of the times, capturing youth through lenses and illuminating the field with creativity. The School of Accounting and Finance gathered outstanding students recognized for national awards, competitions, and practical achievements, marching with high spirits in step with the university’s “Strengthening Undergraduate Foundations for Master’s Programs” initiative. Scholarship recipients from the School of Liberal Arts exuded elegance and confidence, using ink and books as their wings, striding forward as role models of youth. The School of Physical Education and Sports dazzled with dragon and lion dances performed by students from seven athletic disciplines, pushing the opening ceremony to its climax with their performance Dragons and Lions Dance, United in Building Dreams, embedding the belief “The Country is Strong Because of Us” into their very being. The Women’s School showcased the values of “self-respect, self-confidence, self-reliance, and self-improvement”, with their “resolute roses” blooming brilliantly. The School of Liberal Arts’ Ritual and Musical Splendor featured folding fans opening and closing like the pages of history, with dance steps painting landscapes of mountains and rivers, scripting the most beautiful chapter of youth. The School of Accounting and Finance’s Song of Prosperity offered a feast of joy and laughter for this era of prosperity.
